
My fascination with architecture and the built
environment is deep rooted. I trained as an
architect and practiced for 12 years before
establishing myself as an architectural artist,
a perspective artist producing commissioned
architectural perspectives using various
rendering techniques, primarily watercolour.
I have been producing 3D renderings for clients
worldwide for nearly twenty years and continue
to do so, but throughout I have always also
done fine art pieces. I have shown at the Royal
Society of Portrait Painters, The Royal Institute
of Painters in Watercolours and The Pastel
Society, where I won the Frank Herring Award
in 2008 and the 2011 Roland Hilder Prize for an outstanding traditional watercolour.
My work is concerned with realism, observation
and the search for the poetic in the everyday.
